Internship

The department has two places for interns from September 1 to June 30. (At this moment, the first possible starting date is September 1st, 2014). These are offered to BA or MA students who wish to gain experience in experimental psycholinguistics. We offer the opportunity to learn how to conduct chronometric, eyetracking and sometimes EEG experiments. Students are typically asked to carry out a small self-contained project (background reading, designing a study, generating materials, testing participants, analyzing the results, written and oral reporting). The duration of the internship is flexible with a minimum of 8 weeks. Unfortunately, we cannot contribute to the intern's travel or living expenses. Applicants should have some prior training in experimental psychology, statistics and design and good knowledge of English.
