The Josef Ressel Center for Integrated CMOS RF Systems and Circuits Design is located at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences and is researching new RF frontend solutions for wireless communication systems.

Job description

• Research on integrated RF circuits and systems for modern wireless communication transceivers based on advanced CMOS / SOI technologies
• Modeling, simulation and implementation of RF systems using SiP technologies
• Digital signal processing for integrated RF transceivers (“digitally assisted RF”)
• Coordination of research tasks and technical alignment with industry project partners.
• Supervision of bachelor and master theses.
• Full-time position (40h/week), working location: Villach, Austria

Qualification:

• PhD degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with a strong focus on RF integrated circuits design.
• Solid knowledge on CAD tools for RF integrated circuits and systems design like Cadence (Virtuoso, Spectre), Keysight (ADS) or Ansys (HFSS, Q3D)
• Experience in managing and supporting research projects in cooperation with industrial and academic partners.
• Fluent English skills.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working location: Villach. Working conditions at CUAS do not subject to any collective bargaining agreement. Starting annual salary for this position at least: EUR 40.000,-. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your professional expertise and skills. Travel costs will not be paid.
