1 Postdoc position in Organic Solar Cells at the Mads Clausen Institute in Denmark | University of Southern Denmark

The Mads Clausen Institute, University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg, invites applications for a position as Postdoc within the field of Organic Solar Cells. The Postdoc position has a time limit of one year. The starting date of the position is 01.04.2014.

The position is related to the solar cell group at the nanotechnology center NanoSYD at the Mads Clausen Institute. The position is part of the INTERREG project eMOTION, which in this specific work package focus on development of window integrated solar cells for electric vehicles.

The candidate is expected to investigate the fabrication of bulk-heterojunction polymer solar cells in order to upscale the process, and to conduct research on integration of nanostructures on the solar cell back electrodes, for enhancing light absorption in the active layer of the devices. The nanostructure fabrication process should be upscaled and optimized to obtain a maximum efficiency enhancement of the fabricated devices. Candidates with experience in organic electronics/solar cells and/or nanofabrication methods (such as e-beam lithography and nano-imprint lithography) will be preferred. The successful candidate must have a relevant PhD and preferably international research experience and a strong academic record.
