Περιγραφή
Postdoctoral positions are available for highly motivated individuals interested in cellular and molecular mechanisms of cognitive and sensory abnormalities in mouse models for schizophrenia and 22q11 deletion syndrome. Multidisciplinary approach includes molecular biological techniques, single-cell electrophysiology, two-photon imaging, two-photon glutamate uncaging, optogenetics, behavioral tests.
The preference will be given to applicants who just received their Ph.D. degree or graduated within 3 years and have experience with single-cell electrophysiology in slices or in vivo, 2-photon imaging, and/or molecular biology techniques and have at least 1 first-author publication in relevant fields. The fellow would benefit from both the outstanding environment in the lab and the highly collaborative St. Jude community.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital offers an excellent salary and benefits package and is an equal opportunity employer. Interested applicants send CV, names and addresses of three references to Dr. Stanislav Zakharenko, M.D., Ph.D.
