10 MSc Scholarships in the School of Management in UK | University of Bath

Scholarships are provided to learn masters courses within the School of Management at University of Bath.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time taught masters at University of Bath.

Eligibility:

• These are for international fee-paying full-time taught masters applicants from UK/EU.
• All the scholarships are for international fee-paying applicants for full-time taught masters degrees (MA/MSc/MBA) at the University of Bath in 2014. Some scholarships are open to applicants from all countries for all subjects but many are limited to students who live in a particular area of the world or who plan to study for a particular subject. Read the descriptions carefully to see which scholarships are open to you.
• When you enter the online scholarships application form it will highlight which scholarships you are eligible for. If you do not wish to apply for a particular scholarship you can unselect it at this stage.
• MRes offer holders for the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences should email internationalscholarships-at-bath.ac.uk for further guidance on funding.

Scholarship Open for: The students of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom can apply for these scholarships.

There are 10 School of Management scholarships each worth £2,000 for full-time taught Home/EU masters applicants for MSc programmes in the School of Management.

What does it cover? Each Scholarship is of worth £2,000. The scholarships range from £2,000 to £5,000 depending on the type of scholarship. Each is awarded as a discount in tuition fees and is for one year only. Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year.

Selection criteria:

• University’s most important aim is to encourage excellent students to choose to study here. All our scholarship holders are chosen for their academic and personal excellence and their potential contribution to our community at Bath. We use the information you provide in the separate scholarship application form to judge your application together with your original course application.
• Secondly, we encourage students from all over the world to study here and to build a truly international community in all our subjects of study. We think it is important that you get to study and socialise with students from many different countries and cultures so we use the scholarships to encourage a diversity of intake to Bath.
• Finally, the University of Bath has many partners around the world in education, government and the corporate sector and we are keen to further our links with these organisations through our scholarships schemes.

Notification: University will notify all the successful candidates by by 15th August 2014. If you do not hear by this date please assume that your scholarship application has been unsuccessful.

Application:

• In order to apply for a scholarship you are required to submit an essay answering the following question:

  -How will your chosen MSc programme help to support your career and personal development?

  Please support your answer by telling us about the experiences and people who have influenced and shaped your decision to consider this career.

• Your essay should be between 500-750 words in length.
• You have until 25th July 2014 to apply for a scholarship. If you have already submitted an application form you are still welcome to apply for a scholarship.
• Please ensure that you state your full name, date of birth and email address, as given on your application form, together with the name of the MSc course you have applied to. Please also title the page MSc Scholarship application.
• Applications must be received by the School of Management MSc Office by 17.00 hours on 25th July 2014 (You cans end your essay by post or email).
