1 Post Doctoral Fellow in Cyprus | Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics has a vacancy for a Post Doctoral Fellow in its Neuroscience Laboratory to work on a new project funded by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (USA). The purpose of the project is to study transgenic models of gap junction proteins after induction of Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis in order to clarify the role of gap junctions in the pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis. The position is until 30 September 2014 with a possibility of extension of up to three years.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• PhD degree in any Biological Science or closely related fields
• PhD degree in Molecular Neuroscience, strong background in cellular and molecular biology and neuroscience, and laboratory experience with in vivo models will be considered as advantages.
