1 Postdoctoral Research Scientist position on Materials Science - Nanophotonics and Electromagnetism in Japan | National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS)

Laboratory for Nanosystem Photonics in NIMS seeks for a motivated scientist, who can be engaged in developing nano-systems/materials with novel solar light- and heat radiation-harvesting functionalities by using ceramics nano-films/materials and their hetero structures, as well as integrated ceramics-plasmonic nano structures for the effective utilization of solar radiation and heat radiation energy.

• Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or be expected to receive the degree by the start of employment.
• Those who have experiences, such as in the fabrication of dielectric/ceramic nanofilms, optical materials, electronic/photonic/thermal (infrared) devices are encouraged to apply. Those who have an enterprising spirit in research and a willingness to cooperate in the management of the laboratory are preferred.
