Established by Weizmann Institute supporter and Board member Armando Jinich of Mexico.

Qualfications

The fellowship is awarded to exceptionally qualified Mexican candidates who have received a degree of Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Medicine from an accredited institution of higher learning, or alternatively, have confirmation from such an institution of fulfillment of the requirements of a doctorate, including submission of a thesis. No more than four years should have elapsed since receiving confirmation of the doctorate and the designated date for the start of the Jinich Fellowship Program.

Terms

The Jinich Fellowship provides a full fellowship plus additional benefits (relocation, travel to conferences), in keeping with comparable fellowships at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Time Limit

The Jinich Fellowship is awarded for a period of two years.

Deadline for Submitting an Application to the Program

Candidates may apply to the program at any time during the year.

How to Apply

The candidate is expected to identify a Weizmann Institute scientist with whom he/she wishes to pursue the postdoctoral training, and establish direct communication with this scientist.

When applying, candidate should specify their interest in the Jinich Fellowship.
