Postdoctoral Fellowships by the Swiss Association of Friends | Weizmann Institute of Science

General

The Swiss Association of Friends of the Weizmann Institute supports each year a number of postdoctoral fellows from Switzerland at WIS.

Qualification

All candidates must meet the academic requirements of the Weizmann Institute of Science and　must hold a Swiss citizenship or have a residency in Switzerland. A PhD degree is necessary. Candidates may apply for acceptance in any field of research which is pursued at the Institute. The candidate should come from a Swiss academic institution and should be able to return to an academic center in Switzerland after their research stay at Weizmann.

Terms

The program provides an annual fellowship paid through the Weizmann institute of science;　covers some of the　relocation expenses.

The selection process

Candidates should seek acceptance with a scientist in whose lab they would like to be trained, and in parallel apply for the fellowship by communicating with Ms. Sharon Teitler, secretary of the Swiss Association of Friends of the Weizmann Institute of Science.
