Job/Fellowship Reference: Two research grants “Bolsa de Investigação Licenciado” are now available in project specSTM, PTDC/EIA-EIA/122785/2010, funded by FCT/MEC through national funds (PIDDAC)
Main research field: Engineering
Job summary: specSTM project will depart from stand-alone Software Transactional Memory (STM) algorithms combine them with Thread-Level Speculation (TLS) support. The work developed by the grant receivers will focus the development of adequate non-trivial benchmarks and real-world applications to evaluate the unified TLS-STM model, as well as in the design and implementation of an alternative algorithm for specSTM.
