Posdoctoral Fellowship on “Fault-tolerant dynamic networks” | INESC-ID Lisboa

This work aims at researching on fault-tolerant dynamic networks. Required education Level and research experience: The candidate should have a PhD in Computer Science or equivalent. Evaluation criteria: Academic record of the candidate in theoretical computer science with an specialization in theory of distributed systems. The candidates must show evidence of good knowledge in the field, including publications in the top conferences and journals in the scientific area of theory of distributed systems, such as: PODC, DISC, SSS, ICDN, ICDCS (theory track), STOC, OPODIS, SIROCCO, Theoretical Computer Science, and Distributed Computing. An individual interview of all candidates that satisfy the conditions will be performed. The interviews with the candidates are scheduled for October 29, 2013. The criteria are weighted as follows: affinity of the degree (20%), publications in the area of the project (40%), interview (20%), knowledge of English (20%).
