3 Scientist Positions: Simulation and theory of laboratory astrophysics phenomena and related topics | The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASCR)

The candidates are supposed to work predominantly on the following topics:

• Relativistic solitons and related coherent nonlinear structures in laser-plasma interaction: formation, dissipation and electromagnetic configuration

• Collisionless shocks: creation and disintegration, turbulence, heating and acceleration of particles

• Magnetic reconnection: collisionless relativistic mechanisms, topology issues
