1 PhD Position in Electronic Equipment Dismantling and De-manufacturing in Belgium | KU Leuven

This PhD project envisages the development of disassembly, dismantling and de-manufacturing processes that allow separating components and materials from PV panels and solar collectors in order to facilitate closed material cycles. In addition, guidelines for improved product designs will be deduced and collection schemes as well as innovative business models to stimulate industrial cooperation among the different actors of the value chain of solar energy systems will be explored. Close collaboration with industrial partners is envisaged.
