PhD position on Model-based distributed sensor fusion for MAGV state and parameter estimation with the H2020 Marie Sklodowska Curie European Training Network ITEAM:
Interdisciplinary Training Network in Multi-Actuated Ground Vehicles
ESR14 deals with indirect methods utilizing the standard set of sensors to estimate or observe vehicle state and/or parameters. Novel model-based approaches will be developed for fusing distributed sensor information with the aim of obtaining online vehicle state and/or parameter estimates. The MAGV (Multi-Actuated Ground Vehicle) subsystems for the estimation purposes will be presented in the form of advanced mechatronic models, coupling both 1D-drivetrain simulation and flexible multi-body modelling. The developed methodology, which enables the combination of all the sensor information distributed over the vehicle in order to obtain reliable estimates, will be experimentally evaluated on the HIL setup and verified on the basis of the MAGV demonstrator trials.
