Περιγραφή
We invite applications for a position as Postdoctoral Researcher in a forthcoming European H2020 project concerning the participatory architectural evolution of Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems.
The main aim of the project is to better understand, model and analyze interventions at different layers of the ATM system to support change management, while capturing the effect of architectural and design choices on the overall system. The project will deliver a participatory change management process where stakeholders will actively participate to the architectural evolution of the ATM system. The pillars of the project are: (i) domain-specific modeling languages to express heterogeneous perspectives of ATM experts; (ii) impact propagation techniques to align multiple perspectives; (iii) a gamified platform to foster collaboration among stakeholders.
The main responsibility of Utrecht University will concern the participatory design process featuring the gamified platform. The postdoc will conduct research on how to facilitate the collaboration of multiple, heterogeneous modelers through the use of game elements and automated reasoning.
Tasks
The concrete tasks of the postdoctoral researcher will be to:
- conduct research on participatory and gamified requirements engineering as well as on automated reasoning on requirements;
- publish in high-quality scientific journals and present results in international conferences in requirements and software engineering;
- collaborate with the project partners and contribute to the project deliverables;
- develop a web platform prototype that supports participatory evolution.
Requirements
- A PhD degree in software engineering, preferably with a focus on requirements;
- engineering, model-driven engineering, automated reasoning, software systems architectures, or cognitive aspects;
- An excellent publication record, including papers in high-impact journals and conference proceedings;
- Expertise in the domain of air traffic management is a plus;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Programming skills: ability to develop a prototypical web-based platform;
- Full professional proficiency in English.
