In the research group of Joost Beltman (Division of Toxicology, LACDR) we have a vacancy for a Postdoc in Computational Biology, to construct computational models of tumor growth, tumor cell migration and/or metastasis. One of the topics to be investigated is the concept of 'cancer stem cells' that can self-renew and give rise to differentiated progeny. The models are compared to experimental data using genetic lineage tracing and imaging approaches.
