Περιγραφή
We seek two highly motivated students who (soon will) have an MSc-degree in biomedical engineering, physics, mechanical or electrical engineering, and who have an interest to develop novel biomechanics-based diagnostic methods for heart failure patients.
The two positions are available within the group of Cardiovascular Biomechanics. You will work as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) in a team with researchers in the VPH-CaSE project, funded by the Marie Curie Actions programme of the EU. You will work with consortium members not only at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), but also at University College London (UK), University of Sheffield (UK), CNRS (France), and Catharina Hospital (NL) and University of Utrecht Medical Centre (NL) .
Requirements
We are looking for high-level candidates with an MSc degree in physics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or biomedical engineering. You will be employed by Eindhoven University of Technology in the group of Cardiovascular Biomechanics. During the project you will closely collaborate with researchers within the VPH-CaSE consortium. Part of your time will be spent at other institutions of the consortium in the form of secondments.
Conditions of employment
- An exciting job in the active research group Cardiovascular Biomechanics.
- A full time appointment for four years by Eindhoven University of Technology
- A gross monthly salary from €2125 (first year) to €2717 (fourth year) in line with the Collective Agreement for Dutch Universities.
- A generous travel allowance to visit other consortium members.
