1 PhD Research Scholarship in France | Institut Pasteur

Founded in 1887 and based in France, The Institut Pasteur is an international research institute of excellence with a mission to advance science, medicine and public health. The Institut Pasteur is a private, non-profit foundation with recognized charitable status entrusted with four core missions of public interest – Research, Education, Public Health, and Valorisation of scientific research via technology transfer and industrial partnerships. Candidates should choose for research topic any theme that is developed in laboratories at International Network Institutes, such as infectious diseases (infectious pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, epidemiology, virology, parasitology), and public health activities (diagnosis, surveillance, resistance, etc.). Doctoral grants aim to promote mobility opportunities for young scientists. The doctoral research should therefore be completed outside their home country or the country where they attended university. Doctoral students should be enrolled at the doctoral school to which the host laboratory is affiliated, which can belong to a university in France or abroad.

Eligibility:

The applicant should hold a Masters degree or equivalent diploma (completion of 5 years of higher education) in medicine, nursing, psychology or any similar field . Applicants who have already begun their thesis may not apply. The program is open to all nationalities.

Scholarship

Funding covers living and insurance expenses (EUR 1,400 net per month). One return ticket between the home country and research location. Whole duration of the research is fully covered.
