Περιγραφή
The goal of this PhD project is to study, propose and implement novel partial response advanced modulation formats. The main topics the researcher will tackle within the project are:
- System and signal requirements of partial response signals
- Co-design and testing of system level demonstrations
- Development of digital signal processing building blocks for partial response signals
- Testbed design and implementation of a single wavelength 400 Gbit/s communication system
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a master's degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master's degree in engineering. A solid background of digital communications and signal processing is important, some knowledge of fiber optics an advantage. Good communication skills in written and spoken English is a must.
