The goals of the Environmental Systems Management major are to enable the student to accomplish the following:

• To acquire critical thinking and research skills in order to pursue post-graduate studies and/or a career in agriculture, landscaping or livestock management;
• To develop an understanding of the fundamentals and principles of various forms of environmental systems management;
• To acquire knowledge of cutting edge technology for optimum crop, soil and animal management, and for quality products and business sustainability;
• To develop a thorough awareness of the basic aspects of the environmental complexities and provide sustainable solutions;
