Computer systems now penetrate virtually all facets of society and personal life and the increasing power of ICT is shaping society technologically, economically and scientifically.. Within the masters programme of Computing Science you are able to choose from three following specialisations:

• Mathematical Foundations of Computing Science (offered jointly with the department of Mathematics)
• Cyber Security (offered jointly with the Technical University of Eindhoven)
• Data Science
• Software Science
• Science in Society
• Science, Management and Innovation

This programme is closely related to the research carried out within the Institute for Computing and Information Science (ICIS). You will be trained by top researchers and ICT experts. Research at ICIS centres on three themes: Model-based System Development, Digital Security and Intelligent Systems. Our research in these areas is leading the field internationally.

Admission requirements

• (The equivalent of) a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or related area
• TOEFL is 575 (paper based)/232 (computer based)/90 (internet based), IELTS: 6.5
• Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), with a mark of C or highe
