Understanding how the brain works and how it supports intelligent cognitive behaviour is essential for effective agent design. In turn, agent design can lead to hypotheses about how intelligent behaviour is realised by humans.
The Master's programme Artificial Intelligence at Nijmegen has a distinctly cognitive focus where computational modeling is the central methodology used to:
- understand naturally intelligent systems,
- build artificially intelligent systems, and
- improve the interactions between natural and artificial systems.
The programme offers three specialisations:
- Web and Language Interaction
- Robot Cognition
- Computation in Neural and Artificial Systems
Admission requirements
- (The equivalent of) a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or a related field
- TOEFL is 575 (paper based)/232 (computer based)/90 (internet based), IELTS: 6.5
