PINEWOOD SCHOOLS OF THESSALONIKI

As an independent, non-profit school, Pinewood – The American International School of Thessaloniki has been serving the local international community for 60 years as the only school in Northern Greece that offers both the American high school and International Baccalaureate (IB) diplomas. Our Pre-K through Grade 12 classes are taught in English while special ESL classes are for students in need of additional English language support. Pinewood maintains accreditation through the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges in the USA. An increasing number of Greek national students are admitted in Pre-K and Grades 7-12, thus allowing them the opportunity to thoroughly prepare for competitive university study in the United States, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere. The school maintains two IB Scholarship tuition-free programs for entering Grade 11 students and beginning this September, Alexandra Manos and Theodora Pilitsis begin their full IB Diploma studies as new Pinewood IB Scholars. Pinewood maintains a warm, caring, and orderly learning environment for our children.
